Bought for cooking, but it's quite nice for drinking too. Prunes, brown sugar, candied chestnuts, wood, butterscotch, and earth on the nose. Prune, earth, brown sugar, and some heat on the palate. Acidity keeps this pretty fresh. Fairly light on the palate, with a decent, but shortish finish. It's quite tasty though, and the lightness might make this a good alternative to cream sherry.

A nose of sweet almonds, light amber in color. A medium bodied wine made mainly for cooking recipes that require Marsala wine, almonds, brown sugar, with honeyed fruit, same notes as last bottle.
