Dark red at the core, fading to translucence at the edges. Slightly musty, cherry nose. Bright cherry-strawberry fruit, but without any complexity. Fully resolved tannins, adequate acidity and balance. Slight touch of heat (13.9% ABV). Finishes short and red-fruited. Some pleasure here but certainly past prime.

Enticing nose of dark fruit. Supple with soft berry fruit and no hint of being overly peppery. Not complex but entirely pleasantm.

Earthy, even funky nose. Medium body with deep plum fruit. The fruit was ripe but balanced nicely by the tannins and acidity and earthiness. Overall a very good example of a central coast Pinot.

Lovely cool climate Syrah. Peppered dry salami, oregano, chipotle, smokey, and vanilla all creep in and out of the nose...it seemed very Syrah! And don't mistake those notes, there is fruit...especially in the mouth. The mouthfeel was quite elegant, wonderfully concentrated with a good balance between the varietal and oak flavors. Wonderful amount of acid to brighten the wine and carry the finish. This is a superb Syrah (though if you look for big, rich monsters, you won't find it …

A bit simple, but not too hot. I found it to have some structure and wasn't too syrupy or otherwise coca-cola ripe. A nice brambly berry-ish sort of wine, that while not really snappy and complex was enjoyable.

Drank at Cathy and Robert's 4th of July party... served chilled... and it was lovely. On the lighter side, with bright red fruit, good acidity and terrific balance. Everyone loved it.. and it disappeared rather too quickly.

no notes on night one, although much more shy on the first night. somewhat dark in color. cherries, a bit of raspberry, and something floral. spice and forest floor on the palate in addtion to ample but not overdone fruit. finish still a bit hollow, but a nice pinot in the mid $20 range nonetheless.

Opened for the Miner OL at the house....opened in the after-party whirl as we ate a second round of tacos and Italian dogs...wow was this nice... bright fruit, spiciness, bold, yet refined... my kind of Syrah... not at all over the top.....
