Brick color. Leather, sweet tobacco dried red fruit, rose petal, dust on the nose. Red fruit & tobacco on the palette. Silky texture, medium-bodied. Missing a touch of structure to elevate it.

This was an awesome bottle after some air. Plenty of secondary flavors, but they really blossomed after being opened for a while. Dark fruit, leather, oak. I had this in the fridge for two days and it actually seemed to get better

Deep garnet color. Offers blackberry, raspberry, BBQ meat, mushroom, pepper, bay leaf and coffee. Velvety texture, medium-full bodied, zesty red and black fruit on entry, an earthy middle and some hints of cinnamon in the finish. Nice, but a little soft.

Hmm, maybe this just needed time. Loads of red fruit, including raspberry, red apple and cherry. Medium body, acidity and tannin. Medium-long finish with a young fruit profile that I would not have guessed was 10 years old. I've had several of these and they keep getting better. Seems to have plenty of life left. Absolutely delicious.

Just Vinturi'd into glass w/o decant. Black raspberry, plum, licorice, and herbs. Lower ABV (13.5%) and nice acidity. Good finish. Just delicious. I'm upping my score a point from the previous bottle.

1 1/2 hr decant, the nose on this is better than the palate, with rich dark fruit and oak obvious in the bouquet. The palate has solid fruit presentation but is lacking much structure, with minimal tannins and not quite enough acidity to get this up to the next level.

Almost Burgundian in color. After a relatively short decant, black cherry, plums, licorice, cassis. Medium- tannins and medium acidity. Nice finish. This is a very pleasant, prototypical WA Cab, it seems. A lot of Cab drinkers will like this.

Big dark fruit, dried herb and some tannin. Seems better with a decant, but I'm still looking into this.At $35, this seems expensive for the value. 90+

Stored in climate-controlled cellar since purchase upon release. This has evolved nicely. It has always had a beautiful nose, and this experience was no difference, revealing expressive, red-fruit driven notes of raspberry, cherry, and blackberry, complicated by red licorice, graphite, and dark chocolate. Super lush, suave, and polished in the mouth, and open from start to finish delivering red fruit flavors melded with spice and, with time, hints of coffee and cocoa. It's in great shape, and notably more expressive …

Dark viscus garnet color. Musty wine cellar aromas. Rich dark cherry flavors with dark chocolate and leather on a juicy hot finish.

What's the difference between a Cab, a SuperCab, and a Super Substance Cab? Answer: some are wines that taste like Bordeaux blends, others are just regular trucks.

One of the worst values I've had from Garagiste. Muted fruit, with minimal nose, palate and finish. I thought this was the standard bottling and almost dumped it, but when I saw I paid $35, I reluctantly sipped it and hoped for the better. In its defense, it seemed smoother and more Bordeaux like the third day, but overall, it was simply not worth the money.

Nose of raspberry, dark kirsch, and oak. Dark cherries, dark chocolate, and a focused mint and toasty oak. Dry finish with cherry and more oak.

Popped and ran through vinturi. At cellar temp this is just silky smooth and the nose is very expressive. Complex too, with graphite, eucalyptus, dark berry and cassis.some wild cherry pokes through as well. Fantastic cabernet...

A big hit with my wine group. Popped 'n poured with Turkish food.

Wow. First bottle was consumed over a year ago and was drek. Second bottle showed improvement. Third bottle consumed on Saturday had all the parts coming together. It was such a well integrated wine that showed improvement with more air. Was not a heavily weighted wine due the 13.5%. Wish I had more as I do beleive this will improve, but is drinking great now. Rating contemplated the good deal from Garagiste.

Pleasant cabernet with mild to moderate depth and complexity of flavor; lean dark red fruit; mild finish.

great minerality in this bottle. fleshy dark red fruit, suave tannin, but more impressive was that crystalline fruit flavor - very clean and fresh. a little on the one-note side so i’m ok with the $29 sale price i got this at, but it’d be a stretch at $55 msrp.

I was not happy with my Garagiste mystery wine when I unveiled it from the packaging. Especially not happy with the price, but at least it was drinkable. Costco has this for $12... No more mystery wines for me.

Mystery Cab buy from Garaiste. Thin and not very interesting. Way overpriced. It might improve with age, but I will probably use it for cooking.

Informal notes, but this was very nice. Definitely young, and benefited from the 30 minute decant. Red apple, red fruits and a hint of blackberry. Medium body. It was enjoyed by all for its wonderful balance, but I felt it was a bit short in complexity and finish, probably due to its short decant and youth. A bit pricey around $35. 90-91

Initial, noticeable leafy nose of pungent green pepper. Lots of sweet cassis and dark fruit at first sip, but mushroom and green notes creep in on the finish. Can't tell if flawed or whether pyrazines will work themselves out with time. Will open next one in a year. This one was not enjoyable.

Not sure why I had lower expectations here but this definitely exceeded them. Nice big cab notes but well balanced with nice acidity. Very drinkable :)
