A winner, bouquet through finish. Elegant fruit, backed by evocative terroir, including black sand, graphite, and herbaceousness. Powerfully structured, including gritty tannin. It will evolve for a decade or longer, and can stand up to hearty fare now. It might improve. 93-94!

3.5 A wide swath of fruits ranging from red cherry, blueberry, and blackberry meld with wonderful, layered aromas of earth and baking spices, and a hint of forest floor. Medium-minus body with balanced acidity, and soft-blanket tannins. Solid QPR. Delightful.
