Starts soft around the edges with some tannins and smoke, packing a strong and lingering punch of pepper at the end. A bit brash. Spicy food softens it; try with a spicy rubbed BBQ.

Great value--if you are into smoky bacon. Nose is muted, but there is evident meatiness and earth. On the palate this wine is one-dimensional, however that dimension is smoky bacon. A standard GSM blend.

Black berry, bit of smoky or earthy flavor. Dry fruit up front, good balance, nice dry finish. Not very complex but complete taste that's smooth and good throughout, no defects.Minimal sweetness, balanced and moderate tannins and acidity, medium or slightly more than medium body.
