More than 2 years since I had this particular vintage and this bottle showed well, better than the previous one. Pale yellow colour. Forward yellow plum, gooseberry and lemon. Palate focused, balanced. Moderately long finish. Very enjoyable.

Havent had one of these at 7 years old before. Still holding nicely, lean, mineral forward with good salinity. What a great example of Arneis. Glad to have this, looking forward to aging future Arneis for a while.

More than 3 years since I had this particular vintage and I was afraid it may be over the hill. Pale yellow colour. Forward yellow plum, gooseberry and lemon with some grassy notes. More advanced than the recently tasted 2018, but still intriguing. Palate focused, balanced. Good finish. This may be slightly past its prime, but still very enjoyable.

This was a very pleasant surprise. I typically drink this wine very young and was not sure what to expect at 5 years. Pale gold colour. More forward than I expected, with peach and yellow plum yet retaining some grassy, lemony notes in the background. Palate was almost sweet and beautifully balanced with acidity. I think I found the sweet spot where I like to drink this wine.

Besides a sexy midsommer-esque label. This wine screams trendy but isnt on the label judging everyday consumers horizon. With a body in between Chardonnay and States based Sauv Blanc this is a perfect porch pounder, glug chugging, simple supper thats out there. Garlic, nutty, sunshine lemons and a hint of natural sweetness. Beautiful. Piedmont never lets me down. And vietti always proves to provide.

Off the list at Francescas ($55). Medium straw yellow color. Apple, quince, star fruit and dried honey notes. Theres something just a bit floral in there too...not quite honeysuckle but in that vein of familiarity. A bit more round and fruit-driven without the racy acid vein Im expecting. Apple and spice elements on the palate. Finishes with nice length. 89+ for me, 90-91 for the birthday girl- Domino.

Such a nice Roero Arneis. Great typicity, medium bodied and a long saline finish. It has opened a bit over the last year. If Lip smacking gobs of lemon, grapefruit, mineral and salt are your thing, then youll like this wine!

Really nice! I love Vietti Nebbiolos, but this is my first Arneis. Lemon-honeysuckle on the attack, followed by strong mineral, grapefruit peel bitterness, and then fanning out to honey-pineapple and wax. Medium+ acid and body, and the finish reminds me a lot of a Vouvray. Slightly jagged around the edges, and will probably benefit from short term aging to bring the elements together a bit more. 90+

The color is a pale lemon. The nose has pineapple and white flowers. The palate has a definite salinity, which increases as the wine warms, and general flavors of citrus. The acid is balanced with a long finish. Alcohol 13%.

Bouche ample, fruits chaire blanche. abricot, minralit structurante, bel quilibre sucrosit-acidit. Bonne persistance. Un vin passe-partout en apro ou la table. A very pale yellow in color. The nose is subtle and has a light citrus component with floral notes of white flowers. The palate has a nice balance of flavors of lime and hints of grapefruit with acid and a medium finish. Good body, not a real light body, but not a heavyweight by any means. Very quaffable and pairs well with food. Doesnt get a 90 because of a lack of complexity, but a truly excellent value. Alcohol 13%.

Lovely nose of white peach, lime, lemon, with flinty, white pepper, floral perfume tones. Zesty, focused, bright, with stony, chalky, mineral tones. Some nice honey and tea notes. Crushable and fun but showing solid complexity as well. Dynamic and evolved more on day two. I enjoyed this with some ramp pesto pasta and lemon pepper shrimp and all was well.

Consistent with the bottle of four months ago: Quite good, excellent freshness. Melon, citrus, white floral, mineral/soil, most of which carries to a nearly medium-bodied palate. Very light color that matches the transparency of the fruit's purity. Clean, with just the right texture, and finish. A winner. Great with salads, lighter fare, or as an aperitivo. 13,0% abv., drink thru 2022. recommended , and pretty much just as good on night two. https://www.ItalianWine.blog

Initially, there is a moderately rich stone fruit attack that almost immediately morphs into a dry mouthful of river rocks, which then finishes with lime curd. The acidic finish lingers pleasantly for quite a while. Its interesting, while the wine reads as predominantly lean on the palate, there is just enough ripe fleshiness on the attack and within the texture to keep the wine from being austere. Instead it presents a nicely balanced and persistent Roero Arneis.

Always a solid wine and QPR. This Roero has the classic touch of Almond which I always find in northern Italian white wines (easy when performing blinding tasting), Aromas of jasmine, white flowers and white ripe peaches. The palate was bright and fresh with ripe orchard fruit, lemon oil, almond notes with a medium finish.

Drank over three days. Lime, gooseberry and mineral notes, quite forward by the third day. Palate’s balanced between fruit sweetness and the typical Arneis acidity; more viscosity that expected leading to a long balanced finish. I like this wine with some age on it.

Quite good. This wine has bright lemon-lime acidity with a sense of salinity to boot. It's aromatically complex, showing peach and green herbs. I could see myself guessing grüner veltliner in a blind tasting. This would be great for pairing with foods -- a zesty salad perhaps?

Good wine. It smells more like plumper Rhone varietals than steelier varietals like chardonnay, riesling, and sauvignon blanc. It offers aromas of yellow flowers, almonds, and pears. It is fairly big in body but has a persistent lemon note. The finish, like so many Italian white wines, has a distinct bitterness.

Possibly spritz-y on opening. Predominantly lemon front the start, with a nice roasted green pear finish. Touch of salinity. Good wine though a bit too much acid for my tastes. Love the crazy vine hair label that an American producer would feel is too creepy.

Greenish-yellow pale color; nose is aromatic, minerals, citrus fruit; palate is medium bodied, dry, medium to medium-plus acidity, waxy lemon, medium alcohol but shows a tad bit of heat (13.5%); medium finish.
