fully mature with loads of savory mushroom on the nose. palate light and well balanced. some cooked cherry fruit remained but the show was all about earth, autumn leaves, and porcini mushrooms. savory and delicious.

This was served blind to me. The cork was completely saturated, somewhat typical of the hand bottling done at this address. Initially I perceived a lot of green notes and sous bois. I thought about Cabernet franc, and the silky texture of Rougeard. The color on this wind was very advanced, I thought perhaps 1993 or older. I was very surprised to find it was a 2006.
