Although I didn't get to taste it, the others liked it. Straw colored in the glass, pears and apples on the nose and palate. There was a reported hint of spice and caramel on the nose and palate.

Light yellow. Decent wine, not very complex but pleasant. Not over-oaked.

Decent drink for the $$ but nothing memorable and nothing like its "unfiltered" counterpart.

Disappointing. Over oaked and disjointed. Drinkable, but there is just so many better options.

Very flavorful, but seems a bit too oaky and "manipulated" to me.

Light yellow with citrusy/flowery favors and a bit of oak complexity. A solid, basic Chardonnay at a great price.

Light clear yellow. Light citrus and oak. Good acid balance; fairly light weight with good tartness. Not over-oaked or over-blown, but distinctly Californian as opposed to Burgundian style. This is well made and a good bargain.

Balanced chard with butter and oak but so some nice minerality and acidity. Overall a great buy that seems to be fairly representative of the region and style.

Quite a disappointment. Overdone and too much acidity for a Chardonnay.

Really nice, crisp with just the right notes of butter and oak. A real nice wine and a great value.

Great go to Chardonnay in the $20 region.... light nose of grass and mild lemon/tangerine.... nice light acidity with a mellow yellow finish... mild butter, citrus... tiny oak feel.... excellent stuff

Consistently good Napa chardonnay. Light amount of oak, nice acidity, white peaches, slightly creamy and nice mouth feel.

Agree with the one dimensional comments. Not much to this one.

Core of stone fruit with a pleasant lingering sweetness on the finish. Not to overpowering though. A hint of butter notes and brightness. Aging quite nicely, very well integrated. Drank with cracked crab, a nice pairing.

Good Califronia Chard for the money. Had some stone fruit on the nose, with a minerally finish. Not too buttery, but had a fairly complex taste profile.

LVMH at Binny's (Binny's Lincoln Park, Chicago IL) : nose: nice nose of pears, tropical fruits, green apples and some bits of warm butter. Standard and straight forward nose taste: full bodied with a good amount of butter and tones of pears, tropical citrus', and tones of green apples. Lower acidity and the butter is fairly noticeable overall: while the butter is noticeable and comes close to being too much, it toes the line and works. Full bodied this is …

Haskell's Wine Sale Tasting; 4/5/2010-4/6/2010 (Bloomington) : Not a balanced wine and featured some apple and minerals. Too much money for the quality of a $5 bottle.

This is not even close to the 2005. Muted nose. Very oaky, without a lot of fruit to back it up. Would like more acidity as well. It seems like they were going in a different direction then the full throttle '05 version, but it doesn't work for me. 84-85

Drinkable, but offers nothing remotely interesting or delicious. Acidic, but bitter, like unripe fruit, and no finish to speak of. Mouthfeel is reminiscent of cheap white wine - this should be much better considering the price point. Huge pass.

light floral nose with toast and pear. flavors of citrus, pear and melon. thank god, newton knows how to do oak! this is well integrated and not over the top. even tho the alcohol is 15.5% you can hardly tell. there is just a little bit of heat on this medium finish. this is not your typical california chard, and for that i am grateful.
