Dark Golden yellow. Old but not oxidized or spoiled. Nose of burnt sugar/Creme Brûlée, buttered popcorn and lemon curd. Nice chewy mouthfeel. It adds richness with air and had a lot of the lemon curd on the finish with surprisingly bright acidity. Long finish. creamy butter on the attack but lemony on the finish along with some hints of hazelnut and honeysuckle. This is the best of the old Nichols Chard's I have had in terms of condition after 17+ …
