Brigaldara Ripasso della Valpolicella Classico Superiore il Vegro

Quite sweet. Don’t remember it that way from back when we bought it. Maybe it has been kept a little too long before being served. Anyway, it was a nice wine, just not that well suited for food.

My favorite producer in Valpolicella with beautiful Amarone. Very friendly and professional reception when we made an unannounced visit at the wine yard this Summer. Very solid Ripasso, medium body - had this slightly cooled at BBQ with friends and everyone was delighted. Price/value excellent.
