Quinta da Giesta Dão Giesta

Made by Nuno Cancela de Abreu in the Dão region, Quinta da Giesta has aromas of coffee and other spices. It is smooth with a tart fruit acidity that emerges on the palate. Touriga Nacional, Jaen and Tinta Roriz underwent a cold maceration for two days followed by a five-day ermentation at 23°C. It is quite light mid palate with a long and refreshing red berry and chocolate finish.
