Disappointing considering the price. We prefer the S Block from Cuvaison and it is less expensive. This was just ok. Too much oak upon opening and not a lot of complexity here. Better with food but for this price, we wanted more.

Dark Yellow in color with aromas of oak. Not a lot of fruit , some acid, oak, butter and a long finish. Not over done, went well with spicy mustard. not my style but good.

After chilling for about 20 minutes enjoyed this with an appetiser of Manchego cheese, crackers and home made pesto. Certainly a California Chard...big oak on the nose. Medium bodied. Fruit does not come out much and the finish is medium long. Not a great value at the price. Nice bottle though.

Rich golden color. Taste of grapefruit with very light oak.

Crap, crap TCA crap. Hopefully Club Cuvaision will replace with current release as they have in the past. 9/18 To their credit Club Cuvaison replaced this with current release at their expense, no questions asked.

Well balanced with apricot, honeysuckle and only hints of oak. Wonderful texture.

While I opened this a little past its "prime" it nonetheless was smooth and crisp to the end. Paired it with dover sole a la meuniere and it was sublime. Honeysuckle and peach on the palate. It puts most chards to shame IMHO.

We found this Club Cuvaison gem in our cellar, much to our surprise (We thought we had sucked it down a couple years ago) and opened it tonight to marry with pan seared wild Florida pink prawns blanketed with a chive butter sauce, fingerling potato and arugula sald (From this month's issue of Gourmet -- an A+ dish), and fresh green beans in an almond brown butter sauce. Upon opening, my wife and I both thought the bottle was corked. …

Flavors of fig, oak and buttery malolactic residue. Nose a little closed, maybe some gardenias and oak. As good as any Cuvaison Chardonnays I have had recently.
