Reliable, tasty, new world style but not overwhelmingly so.

PnP. drank over a few hours. More giving than last bottle. Pronounced aromatics. med+ body. translucent. great acidity. red fruit (even more coming out in hour 2), earthiness, spice, taste like some portion of cluster?? wife liked as well. Would buy again.

Acidic harsh finish just never harmonized even with air. Agree with Vitroman - needs more time in the cellar.

Medium garnet. Med aromas of bing cherry, stewed red plum, dried strawberry, dry flower, cinnamon, pencil lead, forest floor, and a bit of black tea and tobacco. Med(+) body, dry, high acidity, high alcohol, silky, med tannins, med(+) finish. This is an entry level PN but it’s beautifully aged and still balanced. No alcohol sticking out despite the high abv. A lot of so-called minerality and earthiness along with ripe & dried fruits. Fruits are still there but I think …

A well-crafted pinot noir would show even better with more air than I could give it. This is well structured and could be aged up to 10 more years, in my opinion.

Last bottle. Still excellent. Red fruit, cherry, raspberry, cranberry, herbs and forest floor. A little more earth than a couple of years ago. Delicious with our Atlantic salmon sashimi and grilled, Atlantic salmon.

My penultimate bottle, certainly this once again delivers above its price point, a wine which could certainly go the distance, 10 years without breaking a sweat. I doubt my last bottle will last that long. Notes of bright red cherries, red florals, dried cranberries, fresh herbs, black tea, vanilla and forest floor. The palate is bright yet seductive with crunchy red fruit and sweet spices, the mid-palate is layered leading to a medium slightly spicy finish.

PnP. Had with grilled thicken thighs and black rice. aromaitic balck fruit. On the acidic, astringent side. Was enjoyable during/after dinner. Would not probably buy again as we like the roserock eola more around this same pricepoint.

Delicious, flavorful (cherry fruit), acidic. Some guides say to hold longer, which probably would improve it, but it was good now.

Very similar to previous note, this is drinking really well right now. Bright red berryfruit, slight liquorice notes, cola, crushed stones, structure, lively acidity and a long finish. Compared to the Cristom a few weeks ago this is a step up.

I agree with 1arm on this one - it's a good "everyday" Pinot Noir: good fruit, judicious oaking, well integrated alcohol. An honest, tasty Pinot Noir for $20 is hard to find, but here it is. Still, I'm not sold on the rave reviews - while there's plenty to like here, I find little to fall in love with. It is neither florally pretty nor impressively structured, just a very good all-rounder. Happy to have had it, but wouldn't seek …

This wine pours bright and young with a clear purple color. This is a youthful wine that could stand a few more years in the cellar. Notes of red fruit including raspberry, strawberry, and red cherry on the nose with a similar palate. This is a dry wine with high acidity and a short finish. Overall, too young to drink. Try again in a few years for some improvement.

Had this off a restaurant list with friends and so couldn't pay as much attention as I'd like. But very nice. Ripe cherries and cranberries, herbs, baking spices, some earth coming together in a pretty and elegant package. Riper than I was expecting but may be a reflection of the vintage. This is a small nitpick as it was very enjoyable from the first pour.

Another great bottle. Bright and fresh red fruit flavors, including cherry, raspberry and cranberry, plus some earth and some baking spices. We had this with grilled Atlantic salmon, salmon salad (with Old Bay Seasoning), Opah sashimi, grilled Opah, and wild and long grain rice: all are a much better pairing than our other week when we had the wine with lamb! Drink now or hold.

I thought this drank great. Lovely red fruit - cherries and a little cranberry -- earth, some spice (thyme, baking spices) and very good acidity on the finish. It was a great pairing with our wild and long-grained rice (and would have been terrific with salmon, I think). Good value for ~$25. Drink now or hold.

Been a while since I have sampled this wine. Very fresh Pinot with cranberry, spice, forest floor and cedar. Medium plus finish and quite balanced. Drink now or enjoy over the next few years. Day 1 90 points Finishing the bottle on day 3 and I am glad I waited as I always do on newer vintage wines. Very smooth wine overall with similar character but more depth. Up front some spice and cedar but the finish reveals more fruit …

Sometimes the sum is greater than the parts. This Pinot is a blend from several (actually eight) different Willamette Valley vineyards. It is an amalgamation of barrels that don't live up to Patricia Green's vision of the specific vineyard's terrroir. As such, these barrels are thrown into the winemaker's version of jambalaya, and sold to the public as the lowly plebeian. That said, to my palate, this wine is much better than many of Patricia Green's single-vineyard designated wines. Medium …

Red fruit and earth to the nose. True to form, edgy expression of aroma. Palate gives that too. Has a little butteriness on the palate. Fresh minty whisper to the palate too, spice and substantial acid. Almost some spearmint to the palate.

Forward, light, with nice energy and lift. Seemed a little simple for the producer, which may be a result of the hot vintage. 88-89.

Medium nose shows cranberry, tea leaf, red cherry, herbal thyme note, another cherry layer. Palate is a little more fruit driven, nice cherry layers, cranberry becomes secondary, pomegranate, juicy acidity shows well, finish is tasty. Nice Oregon style walking the line between CA and Burgundy.

nice garnet hue; "Classic" woodland meadow earth tones and peppery dark fruit nose; Ohmigosh! What a pleasant rush of red & black fruit! Red raspberries, black cherry, blackberry and others. Almost a sweet overtone too. The 2015 is even better than the 2014.
