Clear medium gold; clean medium plus nose of lemon curd, pear and toast; dry; medium plus acidity; high alcohol; full body; pronounced flavour intensity; palate is tarter with addition of burnt sugar; long finish; drinking very well now and still has another few years in it; not blinded; delicious, round Chardonnay-like treat

Initially minerally and refreshing with notes of citrus and pear fruit seasoned with white pepper. Develops a little richness with a pleasing length. CHP 88pts

Has some oak on it and it smells like that too. Smells just a bit tired to me, almost like an amaretto cookie thing going for it. Oaked and rich and powerful. But just doesn't seem in variety character to it.

Outstanding

Not a run of the mill Pinot Grigio. Very subtle and with more acidity and beautiful bitters than one would not expect. Notes of litchi to the nose, very complex to the palate and an endless finale. Quite wonderful, I was not expecting this, very surprised!
