If you love Cab Franc, you will appreciate this wine, as we did. We bought this as the last of three wines purchased as an afterthought at the winery and it ended up after a year of cellaring to be the best of the three. 100% varietally correct, notes of graphite, raspberry and other fruit, cigar box (tobacco)...just plain enjoyable and drinking perfectly now. Wow!!! A Cabernet Franc drinker's Cabernet Franc loaded with varietal characteristics, including pepper capsaicin, graphite, currants, and dark coco powder. Rustic and earthy, serious acid, great balance. Place this in a flight of serious vintage Loire offerings and watch it shine!
