In its prime. Definitely more Burg than Cali and an outstanding representation of Oregon PN. Nose is floral and earthy. This is medium bodied elegant and smooth. Some cherries here too. Exceptional.

Perfect pairing with the grilled shrimp kabobs: fragrant, complex, muscular and balanced. Starts with aromas and flavors of red florals, moist black earth, cherry cola, juicy raspberry, ripe cherry, sour pickle, and salty red stone. Fruit, tannins and acids all inharmony. Medium plus, rather rich mouthfeel. Very long finish. Can drink now, or over the next 5+ years. Probably the best Oregon Pinot Noir enjoyed over the last two years.

Tasted side-by-side with Coriolis 2016 (Antica Terra cuvée) and Kelley Fox Momtazi 2016. This was in the middle of the pack, with more complexity than the Coriolis, very lovely freshness and some real character. Deftly balanced and highly enjoyable with the meal. Good value at just under $40, too, for the quality. Easily fights with very good village Burgundy or even lesser 1ers.

Loved this. Powerful nose of of huckleberries cut with sourbraten, followed by a basket of red berries and cherries, some orangey cinnamon, and an easygoing earthiness on the palate.

Darker color than some previous vintages. Fruit and florals on the nose, followed by earth and spice. Primary red fruits (raspberry, cherry) are expressive early, with a fairly sharp finish featuring some bitter herbs. We enjoyed this very much with a slow cooker turkey/barley dinner, but believe it will probably be a bit better integrated in a year or two.
