Nice nose of raspberry, red cherry, unripe strawberry, herbs, bell pepper, earth, charred oak, with a healthy dollop of dirty old-world funk. On the palate, this wine is medium-bodied with medium acid, with nice red and black fruit, earth, black olive, and smoke, ending with a long dirty, earthy finish with flavors of tart red fruit, evoo, and black olives lingering on the palate for minutes. This is a wonderful, layered, and engaging wine offering everything I want in a …

Looks like this wine is starting to shut down somewhat, not as intense as previous tastings. Cherry, leather, smoke, Brett. I would wait to revisit this in a few years.

Started off delicious, smoke, black fruits, tertiary, great balance. After about an hour, the oak started taking over, and it got a midge unpleasant, I hope this is just bottle variation as the last one was truly delicious. 90-91

Beautiful wine, I do feel that this vintage has a tad less acidity than 15 or 16, but still great youthful bottle, and a bottle that will age for many years to come. Highly recommended.

Dark Ruby to purple color. Explosive bouquet of floral notes spice cassis. Sweet Cherry. Concentrated with fleshy ripe fruit. Long finish with some dusty tannins. Gorgeous fruit right now and certainly drinkable but this will certainly evolve and prove for a few years. Sweet dark cherry earthy fruit with cassis and blueberries along with crushed violet some flint and spice. Long tannic finish. Certainly enjoyable now but this is not showing its full potential. Likely best from 2025 to 2034. …

92-93+. Another QPR winner from this Winery again. I really thoroughly enjoy this wine. Dense dark and concentrated with good complexity. Loads of fruit but also lots of tannin. Still approachable now. Lots of sweet ripe dark fruits with a perfume nature to it along with a very perfumed bouquet. Enjoyable now this still needs at least a few years of Aging or possibly longer. Likely best from 2027 to 2034
