A nice red. The first thing that stands out is that it's not really high acid like other Italian reds. That's not to say it's flabby. But it seems softer, rounder. It's a blend of petit verdot and cabernet sauvignon. Some chocolate on the nose but mainly dark fruit. Kind of a blackberry fruit on the attack and then the cabernet sauvignon kicks in during the mid palate. I'm getting some heat on the finish, but I may not have …
