Last minute selection so no decanting time. Just used a good aerator a little hot on the nose right out of the bottle. The aroma of rich plums with hints of leather after the alcohol blew off. Fruit is fading a bit and being replaced with the tertiary aroma and taste. Tannins are silky but the acid is still strong. Medium finish. Great with my grilled salmon

Nice Friday night wine. Grippy tannins with a velvety finish. Black fruits, tobacco and leather. Acid keeps this dark brooding wine bright and vibrant. Glad I have more to open. I think it’s coming into its peak.

This is nice for the price; you taste the Grenache and the fruit; slightly drying finish May improve a bit more with cellar time - has good fruit left and loads of tannins and acidity

Enjoyed this as a PnP weekday wine with Spaghetti Bolognese. Very easy drinking but very good value for money at £14. Shows the value of the satellite appellations in the Rhone. Lots of acidity and red fruit.

Ruby red, good legs, pleasant with some prominent tannins. Fine but perhaps not best VFM. Wondering if this will improve with age or not.

Translucent garnet with a slight pale rim and some legs. Initially a whiff of barnyard on the nose and them some hints of black fruit. In the mouth it feels darker than the colour suggests - it's got a good hit of acidity to balance lots of dark fruits and spices almost medicinal. Tannins are starting to integrate but still present. First of twelve - will be interesting to follow its development.
