Eher enttäuschend, vor allem für den Jahrgang. Ja, klassische Aromen, ja, korrekt - aber wenig Fruchtdruck, nicht sehr balanciert (eher säurelastig), kurz. Hmmmm. 90 Tag 2 - heute gefällt mir das deutlich besser. Kein Blockbuster aber dennoch ein schöner, reifer (frühreifer?) Barbaresco. Heute gibt’s dafür 91-92, im Zweifelsfall 91.

(noch) offen und fruchtig, süssbittere Aromen, Amarenakirsche, Weichsel. Relativ verhaltene Nase... Generell ein sehr schöner Barbaresco, ich wäre sogar fast begeistert aber im Kontext des 2010er Jahrgangs ist das dann doch eher enttäuschend...

A very dry barbaresco with stunning acidity. Nice cherry and mint flavors come through with notes of wood and firm tannins. Very nice wine. Pairs very nice with acidic foods.

Rather muted, but expressive nose. Flavor profile shouts nebbiolo - this shows why the grape is royalty. Lively, acidic, fruit balanced - with feathery tannins to wrap it together. The finish goes on for almost too long (I got tired of counting...). Still young, sure to become even better. Lovely, surprising wine for this single vineyard Barbaresco.

Nice spicy nose, cherries and spice box. Tannins are very firm, take awhile to open up. Cellar for a few more years but a very well crafted wine.
