Tried over several days using a Corovin. Decent Pinot. I don't have any notes since it was a month or so ago.

90's Cali Cab and the Kitchen Sink (Ursino in Union, NJ) : Much more mineraly at the outset than the '03 Sea Smoke we had alongside. This was decanted for prob 45 minutes before serving. Got more of the sour red fruit - cranberry - here. Still some live left, but it seems to be drinking very well right now. With some time (another hour or two) there's more cherry flavor and less of the sour. Very pretty wine.

Built big in California style, but in reasonable balance. Still lots of fruit, good acid levels. Very typical CA style, if that's your thing.

Drank over two days. First day better than second. Might be because wine was cooler on first day straight from the cellar. Tad warmer second day, wine felt heavier and more alcoholic. First day: violet color, cherry nose, cherry on the palate with (too) heavy vanilla from the oak. Still nice Pinot; too much oak for my liking.

Final bottle - and sad to see it go. Such a beautiful pinot. Still going strong at 7 years young. Deep violet color to it. Gorgeous nose of cherries, raspberries and rose. Jusicy wine that was a pleasure to drink. Downright tasty. All the flavors meld on the palate to make a beautiful wine. Long finish with excellent acidity giving this amazing lift. So sad this is my last one...

Darker color than the last time I had it. Still drinking beautifully. Wonderful nose of raspberries, cranberries and some earth. Medium bodied wine. Not full bodied but definitely not delicate. Silky mouthfeel to it with some bright red cherries coming through. Very nice long finish with great acidity balancing this out. Such a fantastic wine that continues to fly under the radar of most...

deep, dark pine forest nose, really perfumed well, definitely a muscular pn, tons of red fruit, cola, blackberry, and a finish that lingers for a long time, the acid is strong but balanced, not the most graceful bottle of wine, but delicious and interesting nonetheless, washed down a seasoned chicken breast well, works well at a cooler temperature, big and chewy

Consistent with previous notes. Compared favorably to a 2005 KB Gary's and was much better than an 06 KB Sonoma.

Had to have another one and it did not disappoint. First taste is soft red fruit and them wham the flavors just completely explode - cherry, strawberry, blackberry framed around excellent acidity that lingers and lingers. For the first time I did not finish the bottle and I had another glass the next night. The acidity was still strong, but the wine seemed to pick up some interesting salty notes.

Really drinking well right now. Bright red fruit up front with some jazz in the middle and accents of herbs and green, finishing with lively acidity that lasts for quite awhile. Just excellent.

Just outstanding. Best wine of the night for Thanksgiving dinner. Nice reddish color to it. As soon as it was poured in the decanter you could tell this was going to be good. Nose of Bright Cherries, Raspberries, Cola and just a small touch of oak. The taste delivered what the nose promised. Bright cherries galore with a bit of earth mixed in and very light cola, for a light-medium bodied wine that I could drink all night long. Great …

This was the hit of the night. Beautiful in the glass. Nice fruit on the nose. Powerful yet delicate in the mouth. Very nice finish. Have one bottle left, but will wait to drink it, yet drinking quite well now.

My experience with this wine was quite different than other reviewers. Perhaps I had a bottle that was not properly stored in its early life. At any rate, this pinot was quite dark in color and full-bodied, almost syrah-like. The aromas were reminiscent of red candied fruits, and the wine had a strange sweetness to it that made me wonder if sugar had been added post-fermentation. The fruit flavor was mostly cherry with a little heat on the finish. Overall, …

Exceptional nose that invites you into the glass. Once in roll around in the cherry. Clearly not a typical RRV PN yet it still is attractive in all components, Pleasure. Harris Josh.

Wow. Just had with Thanksgiving dinner. We let it breath for about an hour before drinking. What a great wine. One of the best Cali Pinot's I have ever had. Powerful yet smooth. With wonderful fruity tannins and a beautiful nose of pepper, smoke and some cherry. You could taste the plum and raspberry while drinking and completely get a sense of when and where the grapes were picked. Good wine. Very nice and long finish as well.

An outstanding bottle of wine! Lush, ripe, rich cherry nose with just a hint of Pinot barnyard. Crystal clear in the glass, with ripe cherry, herb, toast in the glass through to a long finish. I managed to get it for $30, and it was a STEAL!

Blueberry, dried herb and cinnamon spice on the nose. In the mouth lush and layered. Finish slowly unfolds. Delicious bottle of pinot. Distinctly Sonoma Coast.
