2018 vintage

Clear ruby. Fragrant with aromas of dark cherries and maraschino cherries, sage, stone, caramel and a kiss of nutmeg. Charming, though not as seductive as top Sonoma pinots can be. Vibrant acidity, medium bodied, red fruits throughout. Very enjoyable and at a nice place right now. Not Ceritas’ best, but a nice wine all in all. 91-92p

Straightforward pure pinot fruit. High acid, even for Ceritas. Delivers a lot of pleasure now.

I have in my mind that the Elliott can be a little heavier and/or earthier than some others in the lineup but not finding that here. Either misremembering or not the case today. In a great spot right now. Tart red fruits, a little spice and complexity. What really stands out is how well balanced this is. Awesome.

Melvin… note below was spot on. Cranberry tartness to the fruit with high acid. Thinking this needs a few years to start to balance out.

American theme at Jungle Boy : Still very primary but had an appealing high-toned style. Some stem influence, good complexity but slightly tart red fruit.

This is obviously super young and still pretty primary, so will hold off on a score. Crimson in the glass and fairly translucent. This really evolved on the nose and palate over several hours from a tart cherry / tart raspberry flavor initially to getting some sandalwood, earth, and a more integrated fruit mixture, though tart red fruits remained dominant. SLDS February 2021 : Fruit driven nose - plenty of red and black cherries, raspberry and blackcurrants. Palate is quite well balanced, with a touch of sweetness from the fruit at the edges but good carry and length.

Pop and pour. Bright ruby color. Nose of sour cherries and some cinnamon. Good tart and mouth watering fruit on the intro - light red berries and sour cherries. A bit tart but that mellows out a bit as the wine sees some air. Lip smacking acidity that makes this a lively and enjoyable wine.

Needs some more time but it’s got some nice juicy red fruit with plenty of acidity. Would wait to open my next bottle in 2-3 yrs.

Pop and pour and followed for about 5 hours. Tasted with food (grilled lemon grass chicken, in case you were wondering). Ruby color. Nose of fresh red berries. Some spice and floral notes as well. This is like biting into a small grape that explodes in the mouth with a sweet tartness. Fresh and lively, red fruited with tart acidity. enjoyable

Nice, soft, and fruity with lively acidity. Nose has cherry, strawberry, dried thyme, and rosemary. Palate is similarly fruity with crunchy cherry and raspberry with slate undertones with spice and rosemary.

Fruit forward. Bright red fruit. Medium to medium-low acidity. Has that Ceritas "purple fruit" type structure that I love, but not quite as exciting as other efforts. Very well may just be young so give these time. Not scoring as it be be unfair given the age.
