Very dark purple-red, with some sediment. Heat, jammy berries, some fennel, vanilla, typical SA acridity in the background, tannins toned down yet still firm, coffee and cocoa on the back end, decent length. Meets the expectations, but not much more.

dark, pitch-like but shiny; slow legs. nose: sweet and concentrated; plum jam with spices (cinnamon); robust. taste: quite light and spicy; no tannins. FInish of grilled meat and some smoke (maybe pitch). Generally smooth. There were much higher expectation towards that one. Too expensive.
