Beautiful old Bordeaux nose with black currant/cassis and good old leather w dry tobacco leaves. On the palate, full body, velvety and well integrated tannins. Blackberry, earthiness, mellowed acidity and medium finish. A solid 91 for me.

Old Bordeaux nose with lillies and a nutty sherry like undertone. In decline but still nice. Fill level BN / TS Drink up soon.

Lovely aged Bordeaux shared with friends over boeuf bourguignon. Good structure and remaining fruit and sufficient acidity laid inside mild cigar box and earthy goodness. Still drinking well but definitely ready now.

Still plenty of confident cassis fruits but balanced with admirable acidity and delightfully soft tannins. Lovely weight and meatiness on the palate. Showing its complexity and development on the nose with its farmyardy aromatics; such a complete nose. Damn it is hard to beat a quality mature Bordeaux, even from a 'lesser' stable such as this! Might even go another year or two in bottle.

Smooth, full of flavor, overlay of smokiness. Lovely. Perfectly drinkable now.
