Very light straw with some green tinting, sweet apple and some petrol on the nose. Palate intense very high acid, lime and green apple. Very long finish. Delicious.

Very pale straw. Aromas of strong petrol, Fuji Apple, tinge of honey On the palate, Granny Smith Apple, very acidic which the residual sugar cuts down on some but still quite acidic. Definitely needs more time. Especially to reign in that acidity.

The sweetness is there as others have said from the start, but with time and air, more tartness, high acidity, and the wine’s best mineral characters (that slate) come forth and slowly take over the fruit. Great balance of sweetness and acidity. Characteristic Riesling nose (some beachball). Gained in complexity as it was open over several hours. This will be worth sitting on as it takes on more weight and compleixty. Fabulous Kabinett from a great vintage.

So pristine and pure. Tension is very high, acid and sugar are in harmony and the length is long, long long. White flowers and purity sing out in the wine. Is it early? Yes. Is it beautiful now? Yes.

8% alcohol. AP 23. Green-yellow; aromatic, some reduction, pear; palate is medium bodied, exceptional acidity throughout which is vibrant from the moment it touches the tongue, slight sweetness present but perfectly balanced, low 8% alcohol, electric vibrancy on the palate with some richer fruits (pear and melon, but also some green apple); finish is medium-plus length. Young kabinett but well balanced and great depth. 93 for the vibrancy and energy throughout.

Amazing nose with the distinctive petrol note although this was less pronounced on the palate. Good acidity and balanced by the touch of sweetness. One of the best non-aged kabinetts I've had.

Such a richly flavored wine! A very tropical and fruity nose. Candied pineapple, white peach, starfruit all following into the palate along with some lemon zest and green apple. This is a very delightful wine but I think that some age could really help balance out all the fruity intensity. So I'll put my other bottles aside for a minimum of 5 years.

[Drank alongside 2021 Falkenstein Spatlese Trocken and 2021 Keller Von der Fels] This wine is so clear, it almost looks like lemon water! Another reductive nose, akin to the Keller (Falkenstein was more reductive). Palate of lean stone fruit, lemon, and hint of lean pineapple. Popped n' poured last nite with Thai leftovers. Pale gold color, some petrol and peach notes on the nose. There's peach, pineapple and some apple on the palate. Medium body, nice stony minerality with fairly crisp acidity. Notes of apricot on the fairly long finish. Nothing overly compelling here, but its aged nicely and still showing well.

Gold color. Gasoline, white flowers, some ripe stone fruit on the nose. Medium+ body, with crisp acidity with a sweet finish. Very good.

Recently purchased from private collection. This was a fine wine but nothing particularly compelling. I decanted this bottle and drank it over a few hours. Good acidity but muted fruits in the palate. I'm not sure if this wine is approaching the end of its life or in a dumb phase of sorts. Prum Kabinetts can age a long time but this one leaves me confused without additional data points.

Medium gold color. PNP, drank 1+ glass over 45 minutes. This was a pristine bottle, great nose with bright peach, floral, hints of pineapple and ripe golden apples, moderate petrol at first that tames to fairly mild, stony minerality. The palate is just like the nose, also very bright, the fruit is lovely and crisp, not overtly sweet, a solid Kabinett with a good finish and nice layering. Loved this with our turkey.

Gold hue, clear with very slight haze. The aromas are honey, minerals, wet stone, apricot, and melon. The tastes are minerals, peach, apricot, melon, lime, and salinity. The body is weighty, and the finish is long and delicious.

Absolutely stunning after 33 years. Color was gold not amber and still retained a nice acid balance and a hint of sweetness. Flavors were vibrant and lemon floral. Have one more bottle.

I tasted this wine earlier this year, and it's exactly the same. Once again, pulled from the cellar blind, not recalling if I've had this one before. Pale straw color, floral nose with some honeysuckle & peaches. On the palate, very dry with some citrus, peach & melon. Acidity level more pronounced than I recall, and quite crisp. Pulled from the cellar blind, not recalling if I've had this one before. Pale straw color, floral nose with some honeysuckle & peaches. On the palate, lots of peach & melon. Acidity level lower, less crisp than I expected. Nice minerality, slate & a bit sweeter than I thought it would. A very pleasant bottle that perhaps should've been opened a tad sooner.

I have had this in my cold cellar for close to a decade. Floral honeysuckle nose, loads of peach, kiwi on the palate, firm acidity holds this together, a bit 1 dimensional, but delicious and refreshing none the less. Drink soon!

From the underrated 2002 vintage, this Kabinett has shunned its early outer peel of residual sugar, leaving a well-developed and integrated beverage. A touch of rs still remains, but it’s offset beautifully by waves of ripe white peach and mango, the expected slate and minerals, and an uplifting finish of fresh acidity. In a really good place right now.

Nose: Ripe apple and pear aromas. Palate: A slight fizzante with good acid levels and flavors of apples and pear with some slate mineral and a medium length finish. No petrol evident on this bottle. Decent Kab although I would drink up if you have any.
