Inky maroon. Blackberry, iodine, raw meat, fresh and cool. This is perfumy in the mouth, very concentrated, fresh black fruit. Disappears in the mouth relatively quickly, slightly metallic and shortish. Fun while it lasts (in the mouth).

Opaque. vanilla, sandlewood, cherries, saskatoons - really captivating. Fruit and wood flavours, menthol, considerable body and with good acid. Ready today and built to last for another 5 yrs.

Just like the winery says - lots of concentrated dark fruits but with secondary odours. Would lead you to believe it is a Rhone wine, except cleaner. Very well balanced today. James Halliday says this will last 20 years but I am not so sure. And why wait?
