Drank at BYOB with parsnip soup, halibut, then short ribs. Man did this gem shine in all situations. Integrated soft subtle tannins with bright textural red fruited acidity; left for a refreshed palate ready for more. Cool vintage and doesn't quite have much meat for further development as the acidity might begin to dominate.

This is a really well made wine but the flavor profile skews a little too much to the green spectrum. Think that it might be much more enjoyable paired with a creamy sauce to counter the green elements?

Beautiful color. The nose is expressive; showing aromas of ripe berries, herbs, flowers, minerals and a hint of pepper. This is medium bodied on the palate with very good concentration and good style. The fairly long finish features a sappy quality and well integrated tannins.

Bright color. The nose shows fragrant aromas of red berries, herbs, minerals, flowers, and a hint of earth. This is medium bodied on the palate with good concentration and good finesse. The fairly long finish features well integrated tannins.

Tasting at Bloomer Creek winery, Seneca Lake, NY : Not a big fan of cabernet franc 100%. But this was tasty, well balanced, soft with mellow spices. Very good. D 86
