Hazy notes from last night. A solid wine, but there was a bit too much oak and not enough acid or restraint for me to like it too much. A big, powerful style with little elegance or complexity (B/B+).

The wine looks yellow gold colored. The legs are medium. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like grapefruit, lemon and lime. It tastes like lemon, lime, grapefruit, mineral and hay/straw. The body is light. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has low acidity.

Very pleasant pop and pour wine.

Napa Valley Wine and Food Excursion 2013; 9/30/2013-10/5/2013 (Napa Valley, California) : This straw-colored blend of 64% Sémillon and 36% Sauvignon Blanc has aromas of citrus peel, white flowers, melons and nectarines. Light-bodied and somewhat round on the palate, it follows with flavors of peaches, nectarines and spice.
