Bramble nose Almost sweet fruit, soft tannins, doing very well for basic cab; screwcap proves very effective

PNP. Black cherry, blackberry and anise on serious, but fruit forward nose. Smooth, mouth drying palate. Sharp tannins on long finish. This is an excellent QPR wine.

We had this in the tasting room on 9/28/17. It had an open and assertive bouquet of cassis, black cherry, herb and spice aromas. The palate was smooth and round with good lift…flavors of cassis, black cherry, herb, spice and minerals.

Screw cap; merlot in mix Ripe black fruit nose with sherbert notes (common to a couple of their bottles) Attractive acidity, black fruit, spice on top and underlying earthiness. Intense, very long finish. Screwcap makes for appealing freshness; at case sale price a very good QPR

Needed about 20 min of air but then drank very well with a nice amount of acidity and mouthfeel for the money. Oak was nice but didn't have the depth of flavor that would have come from a barrel so pretty sure oak adjuncts are being employed here. Picked this up on a case sale from the Winery for $14 a bttl so all in all a very decent weekday quaff.
