Not a bad tempranillo, but I drank the 2008 a couple of days ago. It was much brighter and more vibrant than this one, almost like a completely different wine. If I can find more '08, I will buy it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to get more of this.

Chris Cannan Portfolio Tasting (St. Regis - Washington, DC) : A very nice Tempranillo with spicy red fruits, some tobacco, earth and florals. Palate was medium-bodied with traces of oak, baking spices and a firm red-fruited core. Great value.

Purchased at Piccolo Restaurant. I quite enjoyed this, though it's a shame that it was a pop and pour since it would have benefited from some air. I remember the wine to be light and fruity but with a backbone. I also remember it to have a slightly off-putting aftertaste which I hope would improve with decanting. Very pleasant overall and reasonably priced.
