Smoky nose of charred clove and cinnamon over an oak background, with hints of strawberry, lychee, and cocoa. Medium-bodied palate which feels heavy but has a clean finish: sweet fruit under powdery tannins. Flavours of blackcurrant cordial and strawberry jam, with hints of charcoal, cocoa, lemon, and oregano.
