Really glad to have let this sit overnight in the bottle. Yesterday it had that ripe, almost roasted, diluted caramel meets vanilla flavor. Today, that flavor has dissipated, but the resulting wine is a little thin and non descript. Not a disaster, but nothing to write home about. The color is about the same as a Pinot, can easily see your two fingers. The nose has some not so great industrial funk. Barely medium bodied, and only modestly fruity. The …
