Quady North Syrah Serenade Vineyard

Falls into a stinky Syrah category, but muted compared to, say, Reynvaan. Big, but fruit is just starting to mellow, so I would say now through the next year or two would be its prime. Quite good.

This wine is a dark ruby with a nose that is barnyard but will blow off with a little time to breath. The wine nose then has a softer black cherry, black olive, black pepper, leather and cedar. This has a full mouth feel with a big fruit, an acidic middle with a firm tannic finish. This is a big wine that needs to breathe before you drink it and will go lovely with heavy food.
