A private dinner (Restaurant Esperanto *, Stockholm, Sweden) : Hors d’age. Amber golden colour; hugely powerful and concentrated, an essence of the yeasty, floral lees, hint of caramel, smooth but intensely hot and long on the finish, really burns its way through your oesophagus.

Negociants Australia New Release Tasting : Almond, orange, lemon, wood and spice. Has a kick to the palate, good length to it. More subtle than the Fine but still very fine.
