The bouquet seemed to leap from the glass in a forward and ripe expression of sweet peach, roasted nuts, zesty floral tones and spice. Prepared for a sweet wine on the palate, I was immediately taken aback to find silky textures giving way to peach skins, flower petal and minerals. The finish was slightly bitter with masses of inner floral tones. I loved this for its uniqueness alone—not to mention the yin yang between nose and palate.

The Traveling Brisket and Helmet Show : weird stuff! nose of an older sauternes - sweet honey with a touch of apricot and a hint of oxidation. but the mid is totally dry with a mean streak of acidity. Nose is 92+ but the mid is rather austere - with the oxidation robbing it of some fruit. lots of minerality and character. Def an unusual wine!

Nose is nearly identical to a Tokaji dessert wine, but palate is dry, crisp, and refreshing. Honey, apricot, and ripe melon on the nose. One of the most interesting aroma profiles I've encountered in a white wine. Very complex and intriguing. Thoroughly enjoyed, I would definitely buy again. Drinking very well, and probably has another year or two of life left, if not more.

Interesting bottle. Rich flavors of ripe fruit (similar to a Tokaji desert wine) but fermented dry. Not a lot of acidity, but something different that is quite interesting.

Acidity has really mellowed out leaving lots of melon and a really mellow citrus note. Heavy body for a white wine, very viscous. Drinking very nicely though and for the price recommended.
