Pierre-Jacques Druet Bourgueil Fiefs de Louys

Wonderful wine, wish I had more. Shows great signs of an pleasant life in bottle. Smooth tannins, herbs, dried red fruit, good acidity and finish. I realise now that I don't drink enough Bourgueil. Buy more!

Lovely Classic Loire-CF. Medium bodied, very fresh,and elegant. Fantastic nose of cassis, fresh herbs, great food-wine.

Nice, green peppers and kalamata olives on the nose, taste of grilled sweet red peppers together with blackcurrants and grey pears. In a perfect drinking window.

Varietal character, fresh, relatively light in style despite the warm vintage (for example compared to the 2009 Joguet Clos de la Roche which we had last week). A nice wine, but not as great as I felt at the tasting a month ago.

Sortimentsprovning Johan Lidby Vinhandel; 9/10/2015-9/12/2015 (at their office.) : Ah, this is the stuff! Very classic cab franc nose of green peppers and fresh herbs. Medium body and very centered around fine freshness. Great finish. 30 % used oak and 70 % steel tank. Highly recommended.

Old school Loire valley cabernet franc. Cassis, grass and green peppers, with a touch of farmyard. Ready, but will develop further for many years.
