Lovely ruby colour with thin purple rim.Sour cherry, black cherry, licorice, sweet vanilla, citrus and some fresh herbs(a proportion of whole bunch fermentation?)...Dry and fullbody on the palate.Has very good concentration with sour cherry and vanilla flavours.Medium + level firm and dry tannins and some tartness dominate the long finish...

A fairly well made Turkish wine using the native grape Öküzgözü. Plenty of lively red fruit and high in tannins and acidity. This was still drinking well 7 days after opening (stored using Vacuvin). Shoud pair extremely well with Turkish grilled meats.

Saturated purple. Quite revealing on the nose with piercing aromas of mulberry, black cherry and damson plum decorated with a citrus element, milk chocolate and earthy undertones. Mid-weight and accessable. Nicely concentrated without a hole on the palate with bright acidity and vivid fruit. Zesty and exuberant.
