Fashinating "Garage-producer" who rarely sells his wines but what wines when they open up...oppulent, harmony and balance.

Hmmm, extremely interesting....big, rich, weighty, and a very full bodied 100% Pinot Meunier Champagne. Expressive and somewhat unusual. Deep golden color and frothy. This was purchased in 2013 from Garagiste and has been in the cellar since. Displays a very unique and complex set of aromatics and flavor profile: ripe, baked, golden apple; spicy ginger, chalky, dry minerals; very yeasty bread dough: fresh, unsalted nuts: musty, raw honey; fresh yellow flowers; and overripe, juicy yellow pears. Just gets better and …

Putting on a little palateweight as it ages, still showing the classic 2007 vintage's acidity. Doesn't have the depth of a great champagne bottling, but it certainly beats the Grand Marque's regular vintage bottlings. Works very well with slightly greasy food: the weight of the Pinot means it doesn't get knocked over and the acidity keeps the palate fresh

LC07 Interestingly very mature, round and ripe, full and toasty. Albeit a very nice wine it also felt a bit generic and lacked the vibrancy and special factor of younger wines from Prevost. Yeasty with good fruit across. Maybe we left it a bit too late or maybe not as a good kept bottle. 91

Rockstar Champagne... like, all of them (E&R Wine Shop, Portland OR) : Very very odd funkiness on the nose. Like a wet cardboard box. Again this tastes odd and oxidized. Really strong wet cardboard note. Not enjoyable at all beyond its rich texture. Some funky, rotting apples on the finish and generally tart fruit. It tastes like you took rotting apples and smeared them on a homeless person's cardboard box he was using to protect himself in a rain storm. …

This wine was tight upon opening, but slowly blossomed into a wine that intrigued me. This wine is 2007 base vintage and it showed. The wine carried through on the palate with nice weight and great acidity. i kept coming back to the champagne asking it to speak louder but it would only whisper. Notes of chalk, salt, slight biscuit, ginger, pear, and hazelnuts on the palate. Very impressive wine, and this wine made me a bigger fan of Meunier. …

I'm with Brooklyn, but this is a baby. Although the wild energy and kinetic potential makes me think that "foal" is the more apt metaphor. Performed best on Day 3 (stoppered in the fridge). Even with the abundance of nervy acidity and immature fruit, this has remarkable balance. Prevost offers the purest expression of Pinot Meunier I know. Intellectually compelling and delicious.

A big wine. Nose of musk, allspice, grass, wet hay, tight minerals- this is a nice touch inasmuch as the nose is quite barnyard while the palate is much more elegant. Great transparency; sliced almonds, mild spice, quiet raspberry fruit. A massive, brawny acid is more persistent than the fruit, and after about a week fizzes out into a savory lemon zesty finish. What I liked most about this was its transparency, which seems all the more miraculous in a …

not as rambunctious and wild as it was a few months ago, also not as vivid and hedonistic. on this night it showed a more elegant side. this is still a volatile wine at heart, though.

100% PM, young (of course), very dry, fresh, oak barrels, really good! 100 % PM, ung (förstås), mycket torr, fräsch, ekfat, riktigt bra!

Is this the finest rose of Champagne that I've ever had? It's certainly one of them, if the not the best. incredibly expressive and alive, pure and clearly delineated aromas and flavors. stunning wine.
