Second bottle of this. Has opened up nicely since last try in 2009. The nose is that of a 100 dollar wine. Great purity of flavor and just a wonderful experience at 13 dollars. Buy this if you see it.

Tight upon opening. After a couple of hours the nose turns to cherries and a bit of oak. 2006 was amazing in Tuscany and the quality of the vintage really shines through. For a 12 dollar wine this was quite good. A great bargain Tuscan. This DOC is a real up and coming location.
