This is a difficult Chardonnay to nail down. The tastes changed as the bottle warmed up and opened up. The hue is a pale golden yellow - almost a cross between a Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. The bouquet was sweet lemons, tart apple, floral aromas and a hint of herbs with a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg. Served chilled from the refrigerator. The first tastes upon pouring were of pineapple, green apple, lemon and a hint of butterscotch and orange …

Good but for this money there are others that we prefer Duckhorn. Grgich

Great Chardonnay! This bottle was more than I usually pay for a Chard ($34) - please don’t judge me. It was worth the price. It was smooth and not overly oaked. Some of the Chardonnays that I’ve had have had too much citrus and are too acidic. This one was not. Nice pear and melon on the palate and pleasant finish. Would buy again. Paired with crab cakes and it was fantastic

For those that like Rombauer, this is one step up but shares many of the characteristics: oak, vanilla brightness on the palette.

Excellent chard. Just on the edge of too buttery smooth but full flavor and great taste

Spent $33 on this bottle at Total Wine. Drinkable, but the taste, to us, was off. It's clearly in the "Chardonnay Family," but there are other things going on with it that take it off our list.

Not really buttery, bit of a spicyness to it. Good every-day Chard

Meyer lemon, papaya, pineapple, and salted butter notes coalesce on a bed of medium acidity. Hints of minerality weave in to provide lift.

If you are a Rombauer fan, this will not disapoint. Made in the same sexy Cali Chardonay style.

I ran into this at a dinner party. I had not seen or tried it before and the person who brought the bottle says there is a Rombauer connection, which comes through in the wine. Vanilla bean, banana and lemon custard were the flavors. The texture wasn't heavy but it was made in the sexier CA style, much like that of a Rombauer chard. Drank fine but I don't prefer this style of chard anymore.
