Regusci Proprietary Red Wine

Opens with notes of raspberry, cassis and leather on the palate. offers some bitterness on the finish. I was quite surprised by the Cabernet Sauvignon heavy blend. I would have thought from the taste it was Malbec heavy but only 5%. Not my favorite Regusci offering.

Excellent wine! Well balanced, nice after a one hour decant.

Great Cab red blend that had a nice nose and vanilla and a savory red fruit profile with a complex finish. Really enjoyed this and it was great QPR at the price I paid. Have always wanted to try it. Still have one left that I will hold for quite some time.

Wonderful coravin pour - and I let it sit in the glass for at least an hour. It still wasn't enough. I think this wine needs time to give it staying power. Wonderfully complex aromas, and something a bit peppery on the palate. Delish. Just a bit short. This was built for the long haul, so give it a couple of years if you can keep your hands off.

Second time having this wine - drop dead lovely with plenty of air. Quite a different blend than then 2016 though I'm not sure why. I actually preferred that vintage, but I'll have this anytime.

Spectacular Cab-led blend. Wow.
