Clos du Tue-Boeuf Vin Nouveau du Tue Boeuf

A light, easy-drinking wine, this has no SO2 added and it shows it. At first, it offers a light red fruit and slightly fizzy nose. The palate is light, and the flavors follow through in the mouth, with a hint of fizz (not enough to disturb, however). There's some minerality at the back end, but also a suggestion of rancid walnuts, something I sometimes get with natural wines. The finish is short but it's not supposed to be any more …
