Deep ruby, wonderfully dry and another winner from Sequoia Grove that has become my go-to for cabs and the winery I most frequently recommend. This blend has spicy notes, pleasing on nose and palate, nicely tannic with earthiness. Good value.

This was very nice and quite representative of Howell Mountain but seemed a bit muted. Some sharpness on the palate with the expected clove and white pepper along with a light toasty oak. Full bodied and a medium finish.

This was super tasty. Drinking really well given its youth. Seems like has some aging potential given the tannic backbone but tbh, I wouldn’t hesitate to drink now. Definitely a bit of a fruit bomb. Lots of blackberry, cassis, chocolate Had with a grilled ribeye and was excellent match.
