Opened at Whale in HK. P&P and enjoyed. Bonus wine. Not quite as good as the previous bottle of this enjoyed about two months ago, but then the treatment was also different as we decanted the other bottle and this was just P&P. Still, 2020 Rochs continue to impress me - they are clean, and the ripeness of the vintage balances out the full use of stems beautifully. Opened at Whale in HK. Decanted and immediatedly served blind. Managed to guess Roch Suchots, but I was way off on the vintage, guessing 09/10. This was a revelation, and I did not expect this to be so ready! Classic Roch nose - explosive stemmy fruit, but quite dark and concentrated and had hints of spice, which pointed me towards Vosne.
