Von Schubert, Maximin Grunhauser Herrenberg Riesling Auslese, Mosel

1925 and some other oldies : What a wine! Soft, light pineapple, creamy-sour cream, ready for business as soon as you open it. Chamomile tea, lime blossom, mild herbs, jasmine, flowery notes, orange lemonade, tiny hint of petrol, so lively on the palate. Off-dry. Extremely long finish. Airy and with no weight to speak of, but somehow has both brilliant nose and perfect body. Outstanding.
