Double decanted to aerate and remove sediment. Nevertheless, there’s an earthy funk on the nose—more like muddy backyard than outright barnyard. Still grippy on the palate, with slightly gamy notes of plum, figs, hojicha, and pomegranate. Could go longer, but I suspect that the acid additions will throw the wine out of balance.

A Grenache/Syrah blend. Lively red color. Currants and cherries on the nose. Lush fruit on the palate but nothing flabby or overdone. Cherries, raspberries, blackberries. Beautifully resolved tannins, nice acidity, excellent balance. Becomes more elegant with air. Finishes long with dark fruits. This might benefit from a short decant. Impressive. At peak and should drink at this level for 3 to 4 years. Alas, my last bottle.

Shockingly still going strong with plenty of fruit though tannins are mostly gone.

Really opened up after about 1 hour. Wonderful layers.

Wish I had this with food, but it was not to be. On its own, there was noticeable alcoholic heat on the finish. The whole cluster fermentation added a nice herbal quality to balance the classic strawberry grenache profile, but as a whole it felt a little disjointed. If it weren't for the heat on the finish, I'd hold out hope that the wine would continue to integrate and develop, but I think the the alcohol will always overpower the …

Really nice Grenache blend. Plenty of life and fruit left but drank wonderfully from the get go. Tannins offer support and backbone but hang out in the background. Nice cranberry/blackberry with the right ouamount of mineral and dirt. Could go a couple more years but in its prime now.

I couldn't get past the more than 15% alcohol. It never blew off. The floral fruit was present, and I could see there was some toast, but so was way too much alcohol.

Lovely grenache blend with hints of eucalyptus in a deeply extracted and intense fruit. Well balanced alcohol and very drinkable. Lovely!

Very nice. Aromas of raspberry and black pepper. Nice concentration for a granache. Appealing flavors or raspberry and black cherry. No hard edges.
