Veritas Vineyard Claret

Veritas grows/makes an outstanding Petit Verdot, and that is the backbone here, forming the structure of acidity, tannins, and dark fruit flavors of plum and blackberry. Merlot and a bit of Cab Franc round it out. Did a Claret vertical recently, and the 2023 vintage held its own against the most aged vintage in the tasting, albeit not quite as complex.
