Rolly Gassmann Pinot Noir de Rodern

Slightly translucent brick red. Musky strawberry and stone on the nose. Earth, spice and gentle red fruit on the palate. Light framed and lovely. Simple but well made. Blind, I would have guessed this was low rent burgundy. My first Alsatian Pinot. Nice stuff, decent value.
