Hasn’t changed a whole lot in the last year. Still red fruit but getting a little more rose water and musk. Structure is still firm but friendly. It’s hard to talk about this wine without mentioning value.

It’s a pretty thing with lovely florals and subtle red fruit on the nose. Just enough structure to be taken seriously but also so approachable. Can’t go wrong for your money here.

Another winner from Kermt Lynch; when in doubt trust your favorite importers. Fresh and approachable but still shows some “Barolo” structure. Floral with plush tannins that offer immediate access.

This is apparently sourced from around Montforte. 6 months stainless and 3 month in bottle. A fresher style. Doesn't taste like Nebbiolo at all to me. ANd certainly spicy and prickly on the palate. A good summer nebbiolo Les notes. Its got some grip and elegance but its juicy.

Sweet red fruits, rose water, a little star anise and spice. Nice clean, refreshing acidity, good length and plenty of powdery tannins. Great drinking.

This Langhe Neb is often my barometer for the vintage in Piedmont. Judging from this wine, 2016 is a very fine year. Great concentration without weight that seems to be a characteristic of all fine wines. Impressive at this price level. Blonde tobacco, cherry, rose, fennel frond. Fine web of tannins drawing along the palate with some Amaro sweet/bitter tension.

14%ABV PnP Red with tinge of orange red hue.. Cherry, tobacco leaf, white pepper, sweat tobacco and slight floral roses... While drinkable now, personally I'd give this another year or 2 for the tannins to settle.. Medium body High Tannins High Acidity Medium + Length Nice
