Château de Viella Madiran

Great for the price, even held strong on the second night. Darker in every sense of the word. Black cherry and slight menthol notes on the nose, blackberries across the palate with a slightly herbal quality as well. Kind of one sided and a bit tannic... but that's kind of expected with this type of wine, so really no complaints. Nice compliment to the rain and cold.
